“Yerevan chemical-pharmaceutical firm” OJSC (YerCPhF) was founded in 1967. It is one of the main Armenian medical producers and has been operating from the Soviet Union times. Its first product, 10 different medicines, was released in 1968. In the late 70s the factory was issued 56 different types of medicines (Galen preparations, tablets and dressings). From 1977 to 1983 the factory became the part of "Yerevanvitamin" association.
In February 11, 1995, the factory underwent a partial privatization without compensation by No95 decision of the government.
In 1995 April 23, by Governmental decision No230 the factory was reorganized into an open joint stock company and became the part of "Multi Group" Concern, which founding meeting took place in 1995. November 9. The firm occupies 3 hectares.
Today, the company exports 70% of its production to Russia and Uzbekistan. Company’s manufactured products are issued to the selling organizations only after obtaining quality control laboratory certificate of compliance for each production batch. From 25 to 30% of injection preparations and 100% of galenic preparations are sold within Armenian and NKR markets.
The factory provides all the necessary conditions for the preservation of traditions and the constant increase of production quality.
